Meet Our Staff
Laura Ann, Clinical Assistant

Laura Ann joined the HHP team in May 2026 as a Clinical Assistant. Originally from Mississippi, she graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Neuroscience and Behavior on the pre-medical track. While at Columbia, Laura Ann studied circadian patterns and reproduction in mosquitos and was involved in her sorority, AXO. She also interned at a neurology clinic, supporting staff and working to improve the Alzheimer's Disease treatment plan. In the future, Laura Ann hopes to attend medical school and pursue a career in pediatrics.
In her free time, Laura Ann enjoys running, baking, and spending time with friends.
Jay, Billing Assistant

Jay joined HHP as a Clinical Assistant in June 2024.
He is originally from Arkansas. He graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Neuroscience and Behavior and is currently on the Pre-Physician Associate track.
During his time at Columbia, Jay was on the executive board for the pan-latine organization, Alianza. As social chair, he started the big-little program to foster a stronger sense of community between latine students.
Jay enjoys spending his free time with Friends, watching TV and trying new restaurants.
Melanie, Clinical Assistant

Melanie is originally from the Bronx and joined HHP in June 2024 as a Clinical Assistant. She graduated from Barnard College with a B.A. in Sociology on a pre-health track. During her undergraduate years she assisted in pediatric research studies at Columbia and at Mount Sinai, and was a part-time babysitter. She plans to apply to Physician Assistant programs and become a PA-C.
In her free time she likes to crochet, take long walk, and spend time with loved ones.
Rachel, Clinical Assistant

Rachel joined the HHP team in August 2025. Originally from upstate New York, she has called NYC home for the past 4 years and graduated from New York University with a B.S. in Global Public Health and Biology.
While at NYU, Rachel was a member of the GPH Emerging Leaders Program and worked as a campus lifeguard. She also interned at the Hospital for Special Surgery, where she supported the Community Education and Outreach team.
Passionate about primary care, Rachel is working towards pursuing a career as a certified physician assistance (PA-C). In her free time, she enjoys reading, going for walks and tryin out new recipes.
Dori, Clinical Assistant

Dori joined HHP in May 2026 as a Clinical Assistant. Originally from South Florida, she graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Neuroscience and Behavior.
While at Columbia, Dori was involved in a variety of research projects at CUIMC focused on neuro-oncology and neurological disorders. She also volunteered at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital and tutored children in Harlem.
In her free time, Dori enjoys long walks, baking, exploring the city, and spending time with friends and family.
Magdalene, Billing Assistant

Magdalene joined HHP in May 2022 as a Clinical Assistant. They are originally from lower Manhattan and they graduated from Barnard College with a B.A. in Biology, They are currently applying to medical school and hope to become a pediatrician. While at Barnard, Magdalene was a peer educator at the Wellness Spot, Barnard's student-run health service.
In their spare time, Magdalene loves to read, cook, practice judo, and swim.
Anna, RN

Anna joined HHP as a registered nurse in August 2025. Originally from Louisiana, she moved to New York in 2022 and worked as a nanny while applying to nursing school. She graduated from Columbian University in 2024 with her Master's in nursing and is continuing her studies to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practices as Famimly Nurse Practitioner.
Outside of work, Anna loves baking, game nights with friends and getting lost in a good book.
Madelyn, RN

Madelyn moved to NYC in 2020 after graduating from Texas A&M University. She earned her M.S. in Nursing at Columbia University and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Pediatric Primary Care. She plans to work in a pediatric emergency department, where she can integrate acute and primary care with children and their families.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking and going for walks with her dog.
