Katie is a Registered Nurse at Hudson Heights Pediatrics. She is originally from the Washington, DC area and graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelors degree in kinesiology before going to Johns Hopkins University for her bachelors in nursing.
Before moving to New York, Katie worked at a busy pediatric primary care office in Washington, DC.
In her free time she enjoys running, cooking, keeping up with her DC teams (go Caps!) and hiking with her husband and dog.
Bridgette Bernhardt, RN
Brigette is a Registered Nurse at Hudson Heights Pediatrics. She is from Santa Cruz, CA and graduated from UCLA with a degree in Biology before deciding to go into nursing.
She is currently in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program at Columbia University. She plans to work in a primary care setting in the future in the US and globally.
In her free time, she enjoys yoga, rock climbing, coaching gymnastics, and traveling.
Rachel Filter, RN
Rachel is a Registered Nurse at Hudson Heights Pediatrics. She is originally from Denver, Colorado and moved to Boston for undergrad where she studied Biology and Genetics at Boston University. Prior to going to nursing school she worked on HIV vaccine trials at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Rachel is currently a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner student at Columbia University and hopes to work both globally and locally in the future.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, exploring the city and trying new foods!
Max Vieira, Clinical Manager
Max is a Clinical Assistant at Hudson Heights Pediatrics, joining us in September of 2017.
She is originally from Hamden, Connecticut and graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University in May of 2017. Max completed her senior thesis in the Environmental Science department, studying the public health and environmental impacts of new oil drilling technology.
She plans to apply to an accelerated masters program in nursing but until then, Max loves taking time exploring the city, being out in nature, traveling, playing music, and reading.
Maddie Molot, Clinical Assistant
Maddie is a Clinical Assistant at Hudson Heights Pediatrics originally from Woodbridge, CT.
She graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University in May 2018 with a B.A in Neuroscience and Behavior. While a student at Barnard, Maddie studied abroad in Durban, South Africa and completed an independent study project focusing on how South African traditional healers conceptualize and treat mental health disorders.
In her free time, Maddie loves taking photographs, dancing, playing the flute, and running in the park.
Ashley Taylor, Clinical Assistant
Ashley is a Clinical Assistant at Hudson Heights Pediatrics originally from Atlanta, GA.
She graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University in May 2018 with a B.A in Psychology concentrating Linguistics. While at Barnard, Ashley studied accent variations in Black English, specifically in the Atlanta area.
She plans to apply to a speech language pathology masters but in her free time, Ashley loves trivia, learning new languages, practicing calligraphy and trying out New York City's best restaurants.
Gina Farinella, Clinical Assistant
Gina is a Clinical Assistant at Hudson Heights Pediatrics originally from Warwick, NY.
She graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a B.S. in Integrative Neuroscience and moved to Queens, NY in August 2019. While at Binghamton, Gina worked as a medical scribe at Lourdes Pediatrics and participated in multiple cognitive psychology and behavioral neuroscience experiments.
In her free time, Gina enjoys exploring all that the city has to offer, spending time with dogs, and having movie nights with friends.
Nathalie Fernandez, Clinical Assistant
Nathalie is a clinical assistant at Hudson Heights Pediatrics originally from the Inwood area of upper Manhattan.
She graduated from New York University in May of 2019 with a B.S in Applied Psychology and an interdisciplinary sequence in History. While at New York University, Nathalie volunteered as a research assistant in the Latino Family Engagement and Language Development research lab.
She plans to apply to a dual-degree masters program in social work and public health. During her free time, she enjoys reading, bowling, taking nature walks, and flying kites.
Azeezat Siyanbola, Clinical Assistant
Azeezat is a Clinical Assistant at Hudson Heights Pediatrics. She was born in Ibadan, Nigeria and moved to the Bronx at age 5 where she’s lived ever since.
Azeezat graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University in May 2019 with a B.A in Neuroscience and Behavior while on a pre-med track. At Barnard, Azeezat was a Residential Assistant and a Barnard Babysitter, spending most of her time with children across Manhattan.
During her free time, she enjoys vlogging and indoor roller skating.
