April 2, 2021

We again want to thank all our families for all your support and cooperation over what has now been more than a year of the pandemic.

As of April 6th, 2021, children 16 and over who live in New York State will be eligible to receive the SARS-CoV-2 virus /COVID-19 infection vaccine. While we have initiated the process to allow our office to administer the vaccine to our patients, we do not have the vaccine at this time and do not know when we will have it available at our office. We will update our website as soon as we have any updated information. Please do not wait until we have the vaccine in stock to have your eligible family members vaccinated!

In the meantime, we encourage all our families and our patients 16 years and older to use the following resources to help you find locations where the vaccine will be available sooner:

VaccineFinder- VaccineFinder is operated by Boston Children's Hospital and supported by the Centers for Disease Control

NYC Vaccine List- A volunteer-led effort to help you find a COVID-19 vaccine in and around NYC

Turbovax- finds appointments from government-run vaccine sites in the NYC area

➽For children under 16, there has been encouraging data surrounding the effectiveness and safety of the SARS-CoV-2 virus vaccine in children 12 to 15:

We hope to be able to offer the vaccination to eligible children once approved over the coming months, so stay tuned!

➽For breastfeeding and pregnant mothers, here is a link to help with information:

MotherToBaby is a non profit organization that specializes in answering questions about the safety/risk of exposures, such as medications and vaccines during pregnancy and breastfeeding

Once you have been fully vaccinated please refer to this CDC site for updated guidelines and recommendations.

Please bear with our staff as we all try to navigate the current pandemic environment. Remember we all have the same concerns about our children, families, and community.
